Mother, Motherhood & Letters to My Imaginary Child shows the presumption of motherhood and criticizes the expectation for women to be self-sacrificing. The three vases symbolizing three generations; a mother, a self-individual and a child, reveals vulnerability through written letters, a poem describing a relation to an absent mother and expresses a frustration with the pressure and expectations from a surrounding society.
The techniques used is stencil work, painting by hand, stamps, decal transfers and slab work.
